Calls to the GVA office in Newcastle suggest that the incidence of heart disease in RAMC/QARANC personnel who served in the Gulf War apparently is significantly higher than in other service populations.
Colin Purcell-Lee and Larry Cammock, two leading members of the Gulf Veteran's Association both served as medics in the Gulf War. They are both suffering from serious heart conditions that they attribute to Gulf war service. If you have been diagnosed as having a heart condition (or a
heart/lung condition) it may help other sufferers in the long run if we
can identify and measure the statistical significance of what seems to
be a unique trend in former and serving RAMC/QARANC personnel. All calls
to the GVA office in Newcastle will be treated with the utmost
confidentiality.
Many thanks.
