Reference is made to your FOIA request dated, 23 Oct 96, in which you requested information on the subject matter.
Your request requires us to send for records located in another facility, and the volume of documents we need to research will make it impossible to answer your response in the usual time frame.
According to the regulation that governs FOIA policy, Defense Logistics Agency Regulations (DLAR 5400.14) I must invoke a formal time extension. You will recieve a response sometime in the near future.
