This acknowledges the reciept of your May 09. 1996 letter requesting unedr the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) (5 USC 552(b), as ammended) information concerning Plague vaccine Lot No. 10H03A. Your request was forwarded to us by the Defense Personel Support Center, Philadelphia, PA 19145-5099.
Your FOIA request was assigned Case Number DDRW-96114. In order to conduct a thorough search for responsive documents, more information is required. The information needed is any call numbers with a contract number, and a national stock number (NSN) for the vaccine. Ms. Gunter, at Philadelphia, and I are in the process of tring to locate this information. Therefore, more time will be required to process your request.
I do regret the necessity in the delay in the processing of your request. However, please be advised that your request will be processed as quickly as possible.
Since you are an individual requester, the fee categories that apply to your request are all computer and manual search (less the first two hours), reporduction (less the first 100 pages) and special services.
The following is a list of the fees for those categories:
PERSONNEL COSTS: Searches Clerical (E9/GS-8 and below) $12 an hour Professional (O1-O6/GS-9-GS/GM-15) $25 an hour Executive (O7/GS/GM16/ES1 and above) $45 an hour REPRODUCTION: Office copy $0.15 a page Printed Records $0.02 a sheet

All the named information was faxed to this office the day I recieved the letter, a day or so later I faxed again asking for a rough costing of this exercise, to date I have had no reply!
